Q: What are your hours?
A: The boutique is open Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and Saturday, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. If these times don’t meet your needs, you may also schedule an appointment for a time that is more convenient for you.

Q: Do you do jewelry repairs?
A: It really depends on the design and what needs to be repaired. Re-stringing a necklace or bracelet, or replacing clasps is usually no problem.

Q:
What if I like a design, but it’s the wrong color?

A: Give me an idea of what colors you are looking for. A sample of something you’d like to match. I will search for just the right beads to meet your needs and create a piece especially for you.

Q: I have a necklace that I love, but no bracelet or earrings to match. Can you help me?
A: Absolutely. Just bring or send me your piece. I will search for beads to match and make whatever you are missing to complement your existing piece(s).

Q: How do I get custom pieces made?
A: I will schedule some time for a consultation where I will need to find out what you are looking for in terms of design, colors, style. It’s very helpful if you bring the clothing you would like to match. You can also bring me some existing pieces you like to give me an idea of your style. If you don’t like the piece when completed, there is no need to buy – we can regroup until we come up with something that works.

Q: What if my jewelry breaks?
A: Occasionally, a piece will get caught on something and break. All of my pieces are unconditionally guaranteed –no matter what happens to it, I will repair or replace it.

Q: I have an old beaded necklace. I love the beads, but not the design. What can you do?
A: I will custom design a piece (or pieces) incorporating your beads – maybe adding some new ones and totally changing the look – sky’s the limit on this one!! I have even take one piece and made several pieces (one necklace into several bracelets, for example) to distribute a precious heirloom to a variety of family members.

Q: I love the beads in one of your pieces, but would like a different style. Is this doable?
A: If the beads are unique, I may not be able to make another piece, however, I may be able to re-do a piece that I’ve already created and design something unique for you.

Q: I bought a piece from you, but would like something different. Can I trade it in?
A: Yes, you may.

Q: I would like to give your jewelry as a gift. What if it isn’t the right size?
A: Any purchase can be returned for re-sizing.

Q: I found some loose beads that I love. Can you make me something with them?
A: Absolutely. I just need some idea of your style preferences.

Q: Do you offer gift certificates?
A: Yes I do – in any denomination.

Q: I am getting married soon. Will you create custom pieces for my bridesmaids?
A: Absolutely… And you… And the mothers of the bride and groom… Just provide me with a swatch of fabric, a picture of the dresses, and some information on those who will be wearing the jewelry – pictures would be helpful too. I will want to talk to you about preferences, styles, etc. I will share some samples to get an idea of what will work best… I will make up samples for you to choose from.

Q: How much lead time do you need to create a custom piece.
A: This really depends on the complexity of the piece and the availability of the components (unique beads, specials clasps, etc).

Q: If I live outside of New York State, do I have to pay tax and shipping charges?
A: If you purchase your jewelry within New York State, you will be charged sales tax. If the jewelry is shipped outside of New York State, you will not be charged sales tax. You are not required to pay shipping charges.

Q: Do you accept personal checks and/or credit cards?
A: I do accept personal checks, as well as Visa and Mastercard.

Q: I’m looking for donations for a charity auction. Do you donate your pieces to support these kinds of events?
